Multicath 3 (adult model) is a totally radiopaque polyurethane central venous catheter inserted by the Seldinger technique.

Multicath 3 features 3 lumen completely separated on the whole length of the catheter to avoid any mixture of incompatible drugs. Supple distal tip.

On the proximal side of the catheter, the 3 lumen are connected to extension tubes of different length. Each extension tube is marked "DISTAL", "MEDIAL" and "PROXIMAL" and features a hub of a different colour so as to identify easily the different infusion lines.

The user has the choice of 2 types of introducer: 1 introducer needle (length 70 mm Ø 1.06 x 1.26 mm - 18G) or 1 PTFE short I.V. cannula (length 64 mm Ø 1.27 mm - 18G).
